The King Living commission was to design and document new showrooms in Melbourne and Perth and redesign showrooms on the Gold Coast, in Adelaide and the first ever King Living showroom in Annandale, Sydney.
Their brief was to develop and refine their existing look, while adding elements that would integrate with future e-commerce experiences, improve overall lighting and create a dedicated “true light” fabric display and selection area.
The first of the “new look” showrooms was in Melbourne’s Southbank area.
The results achieved a new and vital retailing environment - with stone, porcelain and timber-clad walls - that contrast beautifully with the display furniture and satisfies current retailing requirements - and ready for future e-commerce trading.
